M.O.R.E Design Concept

Alexandra Moore, in charge of the company  M.O.R.E. Design Concept, is focusing on developing a research project ”Design factors for wellbeing and creativity in the work environment” at Luleå Technical University in Sweden. Through the research project she aims to create a modern design philosophy that can prove business benefits for  organisations due to higher human performance influenced by a better work environment utilising positive design factors. New strategic tools with design and architecture will be developed and used in commercial projects.

In a time of high absence through sick leave due to stress combined with poor work environment, her research has aroused a huge interest. Both trade unions and business communities are supporting the research project and media has shown great interest in her work. The message is clear: To create human environments is profitable in the long term.

Alexandra’s background is both as an Economist and an Interior Architect. Parallel with her research, she works an interior architect and designer in Stockholm, Sweden, where she can apply the latest findings from her research and studies into case projects.

Through presentations and seminars she spreads the knowledge about how design factors can create better conditions for a creative work environment within offices, schools and educational environments in both the private and public sector. Which factors in our work environment influence our wellbeing and degree of energy? How can an organisation better specify and put forward requirements regarding our work environment?
